The Road Not Taken
With my birthday around the end of June, I get a little moody. Reflective. I take stock. It feels different than New Year's, which feels a lot more optimistic. In July I feel how quickly the year is moving, and I get more intentional.
My running route takes me along a canal connecting two lakes in the park beside our house. In summer it's full of kayaks and canoes. You can rent them for $25/hour from a little hut next to the dock. I see families, students, groups of friends. There's always a waitlist on weekends.
And I think about my mom.
Whenever she sees people lining up for their life jackets and the money changing hands, she says the same thing: "I had that idea 20 years ago. I knew this park needed a canoe rental. But I never started it."
What new service have you been thinking about? Putting off for later? Waiting for a better time that never seems to come?
Go-To Translator: 90-Day Sprint starts tomorrow. Beta price: $197 CAD, and it ends tomorrow night.
The decisions we make today are the seeds of our future success. The course we take can grow into a new skill. The email we send can grow into a sale. The conversation can grow into a relationship.
I built Go-To Translator because the right starting point changes everything. So does the decision to start.
To your success,
Catharine
